Enjoy BBQ time!

This weekend I went to BBQ on the beach with several friends. That was really amazing.
Although it was cloudy and a little cold and we got lost several times on the way, we still had a wonderful time together. Of course we ate a lot of meat, which was the most wonderful part for the boys. But it seemed mushroom and sweet corn were more popular. The mushroom in the picture looks really yummy, right?
We should all thanks to one person, who took the big responsibility of roasting everything for us. It was a tough day for him because he ate the least but worked the most, and for his eyes because of smoke. Hah..
There is always a guy like him in a BBQ time, right?

  1. Yummmmm.....I'm drooling all over looking at this pix of your BBQ grill. I haven't had BBQ for months and it will be under my MUST HAVE list for my upcoming camping trip this Memorial's Day. I can't hardly wait for it! Thanks for the great idea.

  2. Grilled mushrooms? That's great! An interesting cultural factor that I want to share about BBQs is that for people from the South, when you say BBQ, they associate that with grilling meat and basting it with BBQ sauce. In California on the other hand, the term BBQ is used the way you did. I wonder if that's the case in other cultures as well. I know that is some cultures, when you say having a BBQ, that means grilling meat. It does not necessarily mean having BBQ sauce on it.
